The Club has continued to acquire interests in well-bred stallions globally.  Below are stallions that the Club and/or its co-founders have interests in as of May 2007:


Danbird (below), (Danehill - Fitting by Marscay), bought by our co-founders  for A$1.1 million record price at Magic Million Sales.  Full brother to Bearcat (multiple class one winner in HK) and Catbird (proven sire).  Standing at Eliza Park Stud, Australia, for the Southern Hemisphere breeding season. The Club has acquired a 10% interest in Danbird. 

 2009 Service Fee : A$5,500

Danroad (below)  (Danehill - Strawberry Girl by Strawberry). He is the 2nd Leading Colt on the 2001 New Nealand 2yo Free Handicap to Stud New Zealand 2004.  Now, he is standing at Highview Stud .  Danroad’s progeny include GR1 winner of Rockdale and GR 2 winner and GR1 New Zealand Derby runner-up Down the Road. The Club owns 100% interest in Danroad.

 

 2009 Service Fee : NZ$11,000

 


Starcraft (below) ( Soviet Star - Flying Floozie by Pompeii Court). A GR 1 winner in Australian Derby, he won more than A$3 million for stakes, a Champion in both hemispheres. By a proven sireline in Australasia, he stands at Arrowfield Stud in Southern Heimisphere.


 2009 Service Fee : A$22,000

Snitzel (below) (Redoute’s Choice – Snippets’ Lass, by Snippets). A GR1 G1 wining son of Redoute’s Choice, and his rcae record was second-to-none being a record-breaking 2YO that trained on at three to claim G1 glory against the older sprinters. He is a first shuttle stallion from Australia to Japan – Stood at Shadai Stallion Station for the 2007 Northern Hemisphere breeding season.  He stands at Arrowfield Stud in Southern Hemisphere.

Lucky Owners(below) ( Danehill – Miss Priority 1991 by Kaapstad).  8 wins. Champion miler in Hong Kong in 2004. 8 wins from 1400m to 2000m, HK$23,718,900, Hong Kong Mile, Gr.1, Mercedes-Benz Hong Kong Derby, HK-1, HKJC International Mile Trial H. Lucky Owners retired to Widden Stud in 2004.


2009 Service Fee : A$9,900


 

Motivator (below) ( Montjeu – Out West by Gone West). A Gr1 winner in Epsom Derby 2005. Motivator stands at Sandringham Stud alongside Royal Applause. The Stud has excellent facilities and grazing covering 300 acres for visiting mares and those belonging to Her Majesty the Queen.


 

 

 

Whipper (below) ( Miesque’s Son – Myth To Realty by Sadler’s Wells). Blood brother to DIVINE PROPORTIONS out of a mare from the immediate family of SHIRLEY HEIGHT.  SHIRLEY HEIGHT was a successful stallion GR1 winner who was owned by Her Majesty the Queen. He stands at Ballylinch Stud.
