Q: How do I become a member?
A: Application forms are available upon request. After receiving your application, our membership committee will handle the approval process.
Q: Are there any club houses or other facilities in Hong Kong that members can use?
A: At the moment we do not have any major facilities in Hong Kong. However, we are considering expanding our operations within southern China.
Q: How many vacation homes does the Club have?
A: At present, we only have two establishments in New Zealand and Ireland at the moment. However, we are planning to open more facilities by 2006 and 2007.
Q: How many shares of mares and stallions does the Club have at the moment?
A: Please refer to the Our Mares & Foals and Our Stallions sections for photos and descriptions of our mares and stallions. We plan to acquire more quality stallions and mares from time to time whenever we see fit.
Q: Can members select mares for their syndicate?
A: At the moment, all mares are pre-assigned to the syndicates by the Club.
Q: How many golf club memberships does the Club have?
A: We have two at the moment. One in New Zealand and one in Ireland.
Q: How many 95+ horses does the Club own currently?
A: We have one at the moment and will be acquiring more whenever possible.
Q: In case a mare misses or does not have a foal for any particular year, will the syndicate be assigned another mare and/or foal?
A: No. However, our members will be guaranteed 5% dividend on their investment during the first three years of their membership.
Q: How will each syndicate be managed?
A: Each syndicate will be run by a syndicate manager selected annually by our committee within a syndicate.
Q: How does the 5% dividend guarantee work?
A: Each member will be compensated with 5% of their investment during the first three years of investment.
Q: How do syndicates generate cash flow?
A: Cash flow will be derived from sales of foals, service fees from our pro-rata share of stallions and prize money earned by the racehorses and racing fillies in the syndicates.
Q: If I already own mares, how do I swap them with HKBC?
A: Based on the value of your mare(s), we can swap with you one or part of a membership in one of our syndicates.
