The concept to form an alliance of Hong Kong breeders was first discussed by Mr. Richard Hui, Mr. Paul Kan, and Mr. Peter Yip.

Thanks to Mr. Peter Yip, he took on the concept and moved forward and founded with friends the HKBC Limited to promote thoroughbred breeding.  It is hoped it will develop into an enjoyable hobby and profitable investment among racing enthusiasts in Hong Kong and China.

Paul Kan, with his more than twenty years of horse ownership experience, agreed to an honorary role as Hon. Adviser, to exchange views and news about his breeding and horse dealing experience with various clubs, jockeys, trainers, farms, and agents, globally.

One of the Club's missions is to integrate thoroughbred breeding into a family lifestyle through shared use of vacation farm houses, golf courses, and fishing trips, at the world’s most exclusive and sought after locations.
